Some of the things the Cubmaster does:

1. Conducts Pack meetings;
2. Ensures Pack activities are conducted according to BSA guidelines;
3. Guides and supports Den Leaders;
4. Maintains good relationships with parents and guardians, and seeks their support and includes them in activities.

Some of the things the Committee Chair does:

1. Calls and presides at Pack Committee meetings, which conduct Pack business, record Pack activities, and ensure Leader training;
2. Maintains a close relationship with the Chartered Organization (the Pack "sponsor");
3. Ensures new Dens are formed when needed;
4. Conducts the annual Pack program planning meeting.
